A3 - Data Modeling and Access with ABAP Open SQL

Target audience:

Anyone with some previous knowledge in programming and SAP software who has already mastered the content in A1 - First Steps in ABAP and A2 - Basics of ABAP Programming.

Goals & Expectations:

The goal of this course is to get you ready to work with the database by using ABAP Data Dictionary and a subset of ABAP called ABAP Open SQL.

You will acquire the knowledge to:

• define and change tables in the database via the ABAP Data Dictionary;
• write programs that create, read, update, or delete records in a database table;
• create objects for viewing or maintaining data;
• execute database operations in multiple tables;
• perform error handling with checks and messages when a database operation fails.

This course is focused on ABAP Open SQL development. After completing it, you will be able to create and change database tables and their data.
