A2 - Basics of ABAP Programming

Target audience:

Anyone with or without previous knowledge in programming and SAP software who has already completed A1 - First Steps in ABAP.

Goals & Expectations:

The goal of this course is to get you familiar with the basics of programming with ABAP.

You will acquire the knowledge to:

define and use elementary data types as well as structure and table types;
create programs that request input from a user;
use different types of control and loop statements;
perform basic error handling with checks and messages to the user;
debug your code by executing it step by step to check the result of a statement.

This course is focused on ABAP development. After completing it you should be able to read, write and debug basic ABAP code.
